About

Kartavya Foundation is a non-government, non-profit organisation rooted in the belief that meaningful social change begins with a sense of responsibility towards one another. The word Kartavya comes from Sanskrit and means duty—a moral obligation to act with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Guided by this philosophy, the Foundation is committed to the values of care, sharing, and service. We see ourselves not merely as providers of aid, but as enablers of dignity, striving to address real needs with empathy and respect. Every initiative we undertake is driven by the conviction that collective responsibility can transform lives and strengthen communities.

At Kartavya Foundation, we work as a catalyst for positive social transformation through thoughtfully designed programmes in food security, healthcare, education, and community welfare. Our approach combines compassion with action—responding to immediate needs while also building sustainable, long-term impact. Whether it is providing nutritious meals to patient caregivers, organising health camps, or supporting vulnerable sections of society, our efforts are grounded in humility, transparency, and service. We believe that when individuals come together with a shared sense of kartavya, even small acts can create lasting change.

Kartavya Foundation began with the intent to respond—quietly and consistently—to real needs we witnessed around us. Our work is driven not by scale alone, but by empathy, respect, and the responsibility we owe to our communities.
